Presentations

Bring the outside in.

The a Neighborhood Naturalist team are educators first and foremost. We love sharing our adventures and the things they teach us with our fellow naturalists of all ages and interest levels.

Whether you’re a classroom teacher, a librarian, or an activities coordinator for a retirement home, if you think your learners would appreciate a trip into the field (without leaving the indoors) we’d love to talk with you about bringing a program to your site!

Below are a list of our current and planned presentations, but if you have a topic you’re interested we’re always open to learning and educating about something new.

Meeting the Neighbors

Get to know your neighbors by tracing the natural history and lifestyles of birds as well as some tips for identifying them in the field.

Another World

Follow the a Neighborhood Naturalist team's adventure to the beautiful Galapagos Islands and learn a bit about evolution too!

Coming Fall 2025

Whale, Hello There!

Learn the uniquely New England history of humpback whale photo identification (and meet Evan’s best non-human friend).

Interested in an a Neighborhood Naturalist program for your group?

Contact us with the name of the program you’d like to learn more about (or a topic your group is interested in) and we’ll be in touch!

Due to travel logistics we mostly work within mid-Coast Maine at the moment.
